Benchmark Report: Living Income and Living Wage for Rural Areas of Khulna Division, Bangladesh, 2025

This report presents the research carried out to estimate a living income for farmers in the rural Jhenneidah and Alladargah regions of Khulna Division, Bangladesh. These areas are two of the main tobacco-producing regions in Bangladesh and are located in the western part of the country. The study was conducted in September 2025 and includes an annex with a living wage estimate for the study area.
