Ibnu Mundzir
Ibnu Mundzir is a development practitioner with 20 years of experience in program development and evaluation across sectors such as sustainable livelihoods, natural resource management, and community-based programs. He holds a master's degree in Community Psychology and Social Change from Pennsylvania State University. He co-founded Yayasan Aceh Hijau (www.yayasanacehhijau.org ), a CSO based in Aceh, Indonesia, working on local capacity strengthening and promoting sustainable development.
Mundzir conducted a living income study with Yayasan Aceh Hijau and Anker Research Institute among coffee farmers in Lampung (2023), Aceh (2024), and palm oil farmers in Aceh, Indonesia (2025). He assisted 500 coffee farmers in Aceh in recording their farm expenditure and income for 12 months in 2019 – 2020 as part of the development of Living Income Reference Price for Fairtrade International. He also assessed the cost of sustainable coffee production in India, Indonesia, and Vietnam for Fairtrade International (2022, 2024). He developed Aceh Sustainable Investment Action Plan document as a reference for Coalition for Sustainable Livelihood, Aceh government and potential investors to implement sustainable investment in coffee, cocoa, social forestry and fishery sectors in Aceh (2022). He has conducted project evaluations on productivity and welfare increase among coffee, cocoa, rubber, and palm oil farmers.
