Luisa Fernanda Bernat Díaz

Luisa Fernanda Bernat Díaz is a specialist in Gender and Labor Economics, currently serving as the Coordinator of Analytics and Continuous Improvement at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. 
 
Her research agenda is deeply committed to understanding structural inequalities in Latin America. Dr. Bernat focuses on critical issues such as occupational segregation, wage differentials, and the entrepreneurial gender gap. Her work aims to identify and address the economic barriers women face in the labor market. 
 
She has authored impactful publications in prominent journals like Small Business Economics, analyzing the determinants of female entrepreneurship and productivity. In her current administrative role, she leverages her analytical expertise to lead Assurance of Learning (AoL) and accreditation processes, combining rigorous economic research with educational strategy.
