Report: Living Wage for Western and Eastern Cape Provinces, South Africa, 2025 (with Focus on Honeybush-Producing Districts)

This report estimates the living income and living wage for South Africa’s Honeybush-producing regions in the Western and Eastern Cape using the Anker Methodology®. It applies ARI’s Sub-National Estimation approach anchored to the recent Cape Winelands Living Wage Benchmark. Region-specific costs for food, housing, and non-food non-housing needs are estimated using national household expenditure data, labor market statistics, and official price data, while maintaining the benchmark’s normative standards.
