This report provides updated estimates of family living expenses and living wage for rural Andhra Pradesh, India. The update for 2025 takes into account payroll deductions and inflation since the original Anker living wage study carried out in September 2022 (Mamkoottam and Kaicker, 2022).

2022 Benchmark Report: Living Income & Living Wage Report for Rural Andhra Pradesh, India
Abstract
This study estimated the living wage and living income required for a typical size family of 4 persons in rural Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh to lead a basic but decent life, earned by a worker during normal working hours. These estimates are considered applicable broadly to rural Andhra Pradesh as a whole because of the similarities of agroclimatic conditions, cropping patterns, food habits, etc.
