Akinyinka Akinyoade

Akinyinka Akinyoade holds a PhD in Development Studies, which evolved from a background in Population Studies and Hydrology. He is based in the Netherlands and has about 20 years of experience as a Senior Researcher and academic. Demography sits at the base of his research work, and he has used population data to undertake in-depth research on inclusive development, non-western directions of African migration, diffusion of reproductive behavior, climate change, agric value chains and multinational businesses in Africa. In 2023, he worked with colleagues from the Anker Research Institute to produce the 2023 Living Income Report Rural Nigeria, which was based on fieldwork conducted in Cross River and Benue States of the Federation.
