Asad Sayeed

Asad Sayeed is currently Director at the Collective of Social Science Research, a research and consulting organization based in Karachi. He has researched institutional and political economy issues in the areas of labour markets, industrial policy, gender, health, social protection, public finance, conflict and corruption in Pakistan and Thailand. He has conducted three living wage assessments based on the Anker methodology in Pakistan between 2015 and 2021. He has also helped develop templates for the upgrading of living wage benchmarks based on inflation.  Asad Sayeed holds a Ph.D in Economics from Cambridge University.
