Isidro Soloaga

Isidro Soloaga.  Agricultural and Natural Resources Economist from the University of Maryland, Isidro is a professor at the Department of Economics-Universidad Iberoamericana-Mexico City and a Level III in the Mexican National System of Researchers. He has more than 30 years of experience in the analysis of economic development, poverty, income distribution, and the regional economy. He publishes regularly in refereed journals and has several books on public policy issues. He chairs the www.sobremexico.mx project  developed by the Department of Economics, the Spatial Analysis Laboratory GEOLab-IBERO and the  Research-for-Impact Group on Territories and Welfare (www.territorioybienestar.mx) at IBERO. From an interdisciplinary approach, this Research Group seeks to bring analysis, technologies and information to social sectors with none or little access to them.
