Lykke E. Anderson

Lykke E. Andersen holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. She has conducted research on environment and development in Latin America for more than 25 years as Executive Director of INESAD, Scientific Manager at Conservation International Bolivia, Chief Economist at the Bolivian Catholic University and as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Andean Development Bank, United Nations and various other development institutions. She is a prolific writer with more than 300 publications, including a dozen books and more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals. According to IDEAS/RePEc, she is ranked among the top 5% of female economists in the World. She has carried out five living wage benchmark studies in Latin America, and is in charge of updating living wage estimates for more than 40 countries around the world. She is currently serving as Executive Director of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network in Bolivia
