Jem Marie M. Nario

Jem Marie is a researcher in economics. She has delved in topics such as social mobility and development. She has a Master of Science in Economics from De La Salle University - Philippines. She is currently doing a Research Master in Spatial Sciences at the University of Groningen - Netherlands.

She has done research on intergenerational social mobility and collaborated on the living wage research for the Philippines. She taught economics and facilitated student organizations. She assisted students in their undergraduate research thesis and organized events throughout her teaching career.

She is interested in the field of regional and urban economics, entrepreneurship, regional development and labor market outcomes. She is also interested in employing methods in spatial analysis in her research.
